Rachel Rompala has over twenty years of training and performance experience. She specializes in tap, jazz, hip-hop, and theatre dance. A native of New York, she began her study at a very young age at studios throughout the Hudson Valley. She was tutored in hoofing and rhythmic tap by Walter “Sundance” Freeman of Riverdance fame. She also trained extensively at Broadway Dance Center, under the instruction of industry professionals Shiela Barker, Lane Napper, Debbie Wilson, Ray Hesselink, and more.

Rachel continued dancing at the collegiate level, where she gained a heart for nonprofit work and cross-cultural missions. After graduating from Liberty University, she began developing youth-oriented nonprofits and ministries—using dance to bring healing and hope domestically and abroad.

It is Rachel’s joy to help young people thrive. She prides herself on being able to provide encouraging, patient instruction while still holding to a standard of excellence. She is highly interactive in class, and is characterized by her energetic, emotive choreography. In addition to teaching in-studio, Rachel is an educator at Mid-Pacific Institute. She is thrilled to be a part of Prisma Dance!
